Aptly named, the Station Hotel in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire is situated right beside the town's train station. Certainly easy to find, that is not the only reason for staying in what is a well-equipped and beautifully furnished hotel in an historic and scenic location. The town itself has a lot of important history behind it, particularly associated with Dunnottar Castle, some two miles up the coast, and it has a harbour and beach which make for a popular visitor destination on the North East coast for all the family.
